Hello,

Last few days, my old friends have reappeared- tiny little Sun Birds. Their chirping brings lots of JOY and I’ve started almost correlating their appearance and my day getting along path of Bliss superstitiously. And today I spot a tiny nest in the shadows of Pipal tree outside my home sheltering my little friends. 2007 The Year of Fire Pig seems to have really begun well.

This year I want to write only around the three ‘R’s of Respect, Responsibility and Rhythm. Respect would be more of re-spect where we look at anything again and gain new understanding. Lets begin with how the Chinese New Year can be re-spected. We may even go back to beginning of new millennium and Age of Aquarius. Aquarius is Sign of Water. I do not recall the scientist’s name, however, in a book titled ‘Heart’s Code’ I do remember reading that water has memory and this is scientifically proved now. No wonder all our ancient religious ritual throughout the world has ‘Holy’-ness connected with water. And if we correlate water’s memory to arouse in us our true Nature and Purpose on this planet, then what Plato called ‘anamnesis’ opposite of amnesia, seems to be the foundation of our times. Plato believed that all learning is remembering. As we ‘remember’ through the Water sign Aquarius, obviously it is going to cause upheavals on our psyche.

The year of the Pig is supposed to be bringing disturbances in Nature, social & political structures and may be connected with destruction. However, on the other hand, it is also the year when people look forward to have a baby in the Golden Pig year since it is considered auspicious time to have babies. Now, the newborn are not just physical births, it could be new idea, project, creativity and world-view. 

If I reconnect the two paradoxical opposites, it reconnects with our Aquarius Age. The onset of the Aquarian Age speaks to us of spiritual awakenings, of the perfection of each human being, through an awareness of our own spiritual self. The time of rebirth and great spiritual development on earth. All this heralding a time of much greater joy and positivity. However, it cannot happen without destroying the old beliefs, world-view or dogmas.

It is also predicted that, “ In this age science will become religious, and religion will become scientific. Disagreements between science and religion will come to an end, and people will begin to comprehend that both spirit and matter are derived from the same source, and are only modifications of the One Universal Energy.”

In a book published in 1887 titled “The Mystery of the Ages” by Marie, Countess of Caithness (Page 316-317) the following prediction appears: - “It was generally considered, at the turn of the next century, that the next Divine incarnation was about to come to earth and would be female, the advent of Divine Wisdom, or Theo-Sophia, and that the present age would be the age of making known all that which has been kept secret from the beginning.”

As mentioned by C G Jung 1959 AD: Flying Saucers, Introduction, pp xi - xii: ”It is not presumption that drives me, but my conscience as a psychiatrist that bids me fulfill my duty and prepare those few who will hear me for coming events which are in accord with the end of an era. As we know from ancient Egyptian history, there are symptoms of psychic changes that always appear at the end of one Platonic Month and at the beginning of another. They are, it seems, changes in the constellation of the psychic dominants, of the archetypes or "Gods" as they used to be called, which bring about, or accompany, long-lasting transformations of the collective psyche.”

When we re-spect, this certainly seems to explain our journey so far. Year of Pig and Aquarius age together may help us to anamnesis.
